To reconnect the country in Death Stranding is to also connect with the many players who are doing the same, and through asynchronous multiplayer design, you both engage in rebuilding the world together while helping one another do your in-game jobs. After about 15 hours with the game, I'm drawn back into its melodramatic story and unique gameplay loop of cargo delivery simulation and harrowing stealth-action. PC version update: The vast, beautiful, desolate world of Death Stranding lives on PC in top-notch form.
